Switzerland's Most Beautiful Outdoor Museum
Even if you aren't visiting the museum to see Christina's artwork, treat yourself and your family by spending the day at the Ballenberg outdoor museum.
Christina will be offering a selection of wool paintings for sale; lots of cute sheep and animals, some local landscapes, and this year, even some fantasy-themed mini pieces! For the young people who want to decorate their school notebooks and such, there will be a selection of fun stickers for sale as well. There will be something for every budget! Check the Instagram account, @serramakesthings for a taste of what to expect! The museum park offers restaurants and plenty of picnic benches along the tree-lined walking paths. Several of the old houses and buildings showcase historic everyday artifacts, like traditional costumes and every-day garments, and household goods. The museum has a daily, varied rotating schedule of events, where visitors can watch how things were made before the industrial age, such as spinning flax/wool into yarn, weaving, blacksmithing, hat making, rope making and more. The Artisan Market Is happening on both Saturday and Sunday. It is one of Christina's favorite museums in Switzerland! |
